Following Spence's commitment to the Rutgers football program tomorrow, the university will announce three more commitments from high school athletes. A four-star quarterback from St. John's College, Kasim Hill has also committed to Rutgers, as have two of his teammates, Deon Jones and Vila Nakkoun. Kasim is the top-ranked pro-style quarterback in the country and ranked second in the District of Columbia, while Deon Jones, a 4A player from Potomac High School in Oxon Hill, MD, is the ninth-best player in the state. Wright is another recent commitment, having met the Rutgers coaching staff and visited campus early in May. He also met with defensive coordinator Joe Harasymiak. Wright is the third prospect to make his decision after an official visit. Mozell Williams and Jesse Ofurie made their announcements earlier today. Ohio State's hiring of Josh Heupel as head coach

Heupel has a history in Norman, OK, where he played for the Sooners in 2000 and joined Bob Stoops' staff after his NFL career ended. Heupel was rated the No. 4 player in Tennessee's 2021 class when he signed with the Buckeyes. In fact, he signed with the Buckeyes during the early signing period in December 2020, over Alabama and other schools.

Heupel is Ohio State's second choice after Al Washington. Washington was the linebackers coach for one year at Michigan. He also coached defensive line at Cincinnati. He was also the running backs coach at Boston College for five years. Both Heupel and Al Washington are highly regarded at Ohio State. They have a similar style of coaching. Both have been assistants at other Big Ten programs.

Boston College's Tyler Rouse's commitment to BC

After being passed over by many teams in the early draft, Rouse decided to sign with the Philadelphia Eagles and run on the field to score a touchdown against their home team. He was able to cap a scoring drive by rushing for 42 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles on Oct. 18. Rouse has since moved on and earned praise from Eagles quarterback Tyler Murphy and BC head coach Steve Addazio. The Eagles' running game has turned around, and the incoming freshmen is confident they'll be able to do the same.

Though he's not the biggest running back in the country, Rouse has already achieved impressive numbers. His senior season saw him rush for nearly 3,000 yards and 45 touchdowns, but his most rewarding learning came off the field. With a new coach at BC, Rouse's growth as a college athlete should be easy. However, he had interest from another ACC school last week.
