Agile Gold Review - An Honest Opinion From Someone Who Has played the Game
Agile Gold is a book by Robert J. Travis, an entrepreneur turned consultant. It's about starting a company from scratch and running it while maintaining your creative edge. It's also about being creative in business and using different types of marketing strategies to build a successful venture. In short, it's about doing things the right way even when things get tough or you're going up against an organization that's bigger, more established, and has more funding than you do. What struck me as interesting about this book is that it doesn't try to sell you on anything. In fact, it's a simple read with some great practical tips.
The story starts with Robby, who heads up a team building consultancy. One day, he gets a call from Sharon, a client who needs help getting their business into the top echelon. Robby explains to Sharon that he can help her and explains what AgileGold can offer. Shortly thereafter, Robby gets a visit from Sharon and asks her to meet him in New York City.
Eventually, Robby gets to know Sharon, who seems to be a curious nomad. She tells him she's traveling the world. Soon, Robby gets to know more about her experiences traveling. He notes that she seems to be living in different places. One day, he gets a call from her in Dubai and finds out that Sharon lives in Italy, Australia, London, and Paris. At one point or another, Robby asks some of the obvious questions about why she's in all these different cities, what does she do for a living, and where does she spend her time. But, oddly enough, Sharon keeps the conversation short and to the point. This causes Robby to grow curious about her and what she's doing in her life, even going as far as to say she's a pretty boring person.
This is an interesting Agile Gold review because it reminds us that Robby should be looking for something more substantial when reading his reviews. Agile Gold's game is fun to play, but it doesn't deliver on the excitement that many other online games provide. So, for that reason, some readers may be turned off by this particular Agile Gold review. But, I personally would have been happy if Robby had received more overall enjoyment from the game. I'm just glad he got a good game instead of one that didn't live up to my expectations.
Anyway, this Agile Gold review is my opinion only and isn't meant to be taken as any sort of criticism of the game or Robby Young. I have played the game and it does have its moments of being difficult. The graphics and sounds are not really true to life, but that's about the only thing I can think of that can compare to it. Otherwise, this game is enjoyable and fun to play. Agile Gold is definitely not the scam that some people claim it to be and I think it has real potential to be a hit if the proper strategy is used.
